Whalley Enjoys A Wicked Weekend at Pop-Up Market

Updated: Jan 28, 2023

Local businesses and the community came together over the Halloween Weekend in Whalley at the hugely popular Artisan Market organised by Crafty Vintage.

Hundreds of families from across the North West braved the weather and descended on the Swan Courtyard to visit the crafters and creators as well as participate in the trick or treat trail around the village shops. The interactive map made sure many of Whalley’s retailers, eateries and bars were kept extra busy throughout the weekend.

Several new businesses were launched at the event including the 112 Pizza Truck, which uses an Eastern European Fire Engine to serve up delicious street-food. Andrew Baxter, the man behind the new venture said “It’s amazing to finally launch our new concept and see people enjoying our delicious menu, which is made from only the finest ingredients’’

Crafty Vintage pop-up Markets provide a fantastic platform for new businesses and budding entrepreneurs to begin their journeys, test new concepts and products. Goosnargh Gin is one such exhibitor that has seen rapid growth since starting out and recently featured on the hit BBC show ‘The Hairy Bikers’.
