A risk assessment is a short document composed by you, a list identifying sensible measures to control the risks in the area you trade in. 

Think about how accidents and ill health could happen and concentrate on real risks, those that are most likely and which will cause the most harm.

Crafty Vintage Terms and Conditions 2023

 

Crafty Vintage reserves the right to refuse bookings or entry to any event.                            

 

Crafty Vintage reserves the right to change the venue or date of any event should it be necessary.                                                       

Crafty Vintage shall be under no liability to refund pitch fees for any delay or failure to provide the services as a result of any act or circumstances beyond reasonable control including but not limited to, Act of God, legislation, injury, terrorism. war, fire, failure of power supply, bad weather conditions, lock out, strike or a pandemic.

As a gesture of goodwill we will however transfer your booking to another date of a future event which would need to be in the same year that the event you were attending has been cancelled.

 

If you cancel an event your pitch fee will not be refunded if you cancel six weeks prior to the event.

It is at our discretion and as a gesture of goodwill that we will transfer your pitch fee to another event withthe same yearin 

 

Cancellations four weeks prior to an event a refund will not be given.

 

Sharing of stands to be agreed by Crafty Vintage prior to booking.

 

Only the items described on your application can be sold at Crafty Vintage events.  If your products change or you add new items then let Crafty Vintage know prior to attending any events.

 

Exhibitors are responsible for ensuring that all transactions are made within the laws of the land, including the Trades Descriptions and all Health & Safety legislation and that they have the necessary licensing permits to trade.             

It is the responsibility of the exhibitor to ensure that all items brought to any fairs or events are as described and from a legitimate source. 

 

The organisers reserve the right to refuse to admit or to expel from any event or fair any stand holder who utilises the stand booked for purposes which (in the opinion of the organisers) are inconsistent with the integrity of the event or fair. Or differ from product description.

 

Each exhibitor shall absolve Crafty Vintage and the owner/owners of the venue of all liability for all/any claims arising from damage to property or stock or injury to person or persons and for all losses however caused.

 

The organisers accept no responsibility for stock brought to any fair or event.


It is the responsibility of all stand holders to ensure that they carry adequate insurance to cover all eventualities.

 

Crafty Vintage or their insurers do not accept responsibility for any loss whatsoever incurred during the whole period of the event/fair by theft or otherwise.  

 

Exhibitors must ensure that they and their employees are fully insured against all necessary risks including loss of stock and public liability. 

 

Exhibitors are responsible for anything brought to a fair or event, including their stock. 

 

Any electrical equipment must comply with relevant legislation, electrical items used at the fair or sold must have an up to date PAT label attached with an I.D code, the status of the equipment (pass or fail) the date of the PAT test and the retest period or re-test date.
It is the responsibility of the stand holder to ensure that all items are set up safely and securely to prevent injury to anyone attending either as an exhibitor or member of the public any event or fair. 

 

It is the exhibitors responsibility to check that any table/stand provided is erected securely.

 

Outdoor exhibitors bringing their own gazebo must provide substantial adequate cover with weights to ensure their set up is wind and rain proof, if this is not adhered to you will not be accepted onto the site.  If after set up and safety checks the organiser does not deem your set up adequate you will be asked to leave the site and will not be given a refund.

 

Parking charges/penalties are not the responsibility of Crafty Vintage. 

 

Cars/vehicles are parked at the owners own risk.

 

It is the responsibility of the exhibitor to maintain the gangways and pathways and to ensure that all areas surrounding their stand area free from obstruction, at all times. Additional tables, easels, rails etc are permitted if booked as part of your package.

 

Any free standing signage such as A boards, flags, banners must be approved in advance.

 

All liability for injuries caused due to obstructions in the vicinity of stands is the responsibility of the exhibitor.

 

It is the responsibility of the stand holder to acquaint themselves with the fire exits and all health and safety aspects of the venue.

 

To avoid unnecessary hazards to the general public do not begin to pack up your stock and move boxes before the event closes as this will contravene with our risk assessment and public liability insurance.
 

If you do pack down early then you will not be able to trade at our events in the future.
